MusiCares and Julien's Auctions have announced that the global popstars BTS' ' Dynamite ' costumes, which were donated to the Grammy Museum, were the top-selling items on Sunday, January 31, 2021. And as expected, it led to a wave of cheer among exhibitors, trade and industry at large. Post-lockdown, cinema halls were allowed to open from October 15. However, they were told to operate at 50% occupancy. Hence, alternate seats were asked to be left vacant. The exhibition sector was constantly persuading the government that running theatres at half the occupancy was not feasible. Bollywood filmmakers, too, shied away from releasing their mid-sized and big-ticket films in such a scenario as they feared losses. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is certainly not done with his aborted dream-project Inshallah , the love story that was to feature Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. Making a flash-decision, he closed down Inshallah and quickly moved on to Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt in the title role. But Inshallah remains in the back of Bhansali’s mind. “It is a beautiful simple timeless love story. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Apple has shelled out a reported $25 million to acquire the festival's opening-day sensation CODA, marking the most expensive acquisition in Sundance history."
